    Wicked’s Glinda was Ariana Grande’s dream job as she played she opened up about how the character may have changed her forever.

    Appearing on Variety’s Awards Circuit podcast, the Grammy winner shared that a new song for the sequel is in the works, and for this, the Side to Side crooner’s vocals may change forever because of months of practising on her pink-loving witch’s role singing soprano parts.

    “From the moment it was announced, I realised this role would live with me forever. It’s an honour, but it also comes with so much weight. I wanted to do it justice,” the 31-year-old shared.

    “Glinda isn’t just a character to me — she’s a symbol of growth and love, and I wanted to give her everything I had,” Ariana added.

    Broadway production’s original composer, Stephen Schwartz, and her co-star Cynthia Erivo have written the track.

    “It’s a pivotal moment in Glinda’s journey. It shows a side of her we’ve never seen before. In the stage show, this transformation happens offstage,” the Santa Tell Me singer added.

    “But in the movie, we get to see her make the decision that defines who she is. It’s a privilege to sing this song and be the first Glinda to bring it to life,” she concluded.

    Wicked: For Good will be released in theatres on November 21.
