If, like us, you’re not quite ready for real shoes, you’re in luck. Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez just approved a gorpcore shoe for January, and it’s actually so practical you could wear it to go hiking.
First spotted on a rainy evening in New York City, the singer wore a pair of suede Bottega Veneta Haddock boots borrowed from partner A$AP Rocky as she braved the weather, pairing them with a cropped leather jacket, baggy jeans and a giant fur hat. We’ve always looked to Queen RiRi for the coolest shoes (remember the crazy waist-high denim boots she designed with Manolo Blahnik?) but for once her shoe choice is a little more accessible for us commoners—and practical for our drizzly London weather too.

In case you need more convincing, another style queen Jennifer Lopez wore her suede combat boots during a wintery escape in Aspen, Colorado, giving her look a Western spin with a blue suede shacket and cowboy hat.
JLo has aways been an expert at styling up humble shoes like UGGs and making them look chic, so if the Hollywood A-lister says worker boots are the new Alaia ballet flats we’d better listen.
